Estimate together.
Agree faster.

Run free, real-time planning poker sessions where every vote stays hidden until the host reveals it. Teammates join with a link and a name, and the final story points download as a CSV report.

No accounts · Fibonacci deck · CSV report · Nothing stored after the session

From stories to agreed points in three steps

01

Create a session

Name the session, add your name as host and, if you like, the stories you want to size.

02

Share one link

Teammates open it, type a name and they’re in. No account, no install.

03

Vote, reveal, confirm

Cards stay hidden until the host reveals them. Set the final points and move to the next story. Download the report and the session is deleted.

Features

Everything a refinement meeting needs, nothing it doesn’t

Live votingFibonacci cards in real time, hidden until the host reveals them.
Guest joinOne link, one name. No accounts or registration, ever.
StoriesAdd stories up front or mid-session and work through them one by one.
CSV reportDownload the final story points as a CSV whenever you need them.

Privacy

When the session ends, everything goes with it. Nothing is kept.

Deleted on download

The moment you download the CSV report, the session, its stories, votes and participant names are permanently deleted. The file you saved is the only copy.

Deleted after 24 hours

Forgot to download? A session with no activity for 24 hours is wiped automatically, so nothing lingers on our side.

No accounts, no history

There are no profiles to build and no past sessions to browse. Participants only ever give a display name, and it goes with the session.

The reveal

Hidden until everyone’s in. Honest when it flips.

Nobody anchors on someone else’s number. When the host reveals, every vote appears next to its owner’s name, so differences are obvious and the right conversation starts right away.

Planning poker questions, answered

What is planning poker?

Planning poker is an agile estimation technique where each team member privately picks a card with a story-point value, then everyone reveals at the same time. Hidden votes prevent anchoring on the first number said, and any gap between estimates starts the discussion that leads to a shared number.

Is StoryCards free?

Yes. StoryCards is free to use, with no account or sign-up.

Do I need an account to run or join a session?

No. The host names the session and enters their own name, then shares a link. Teammates open the link and type a display name.

How do votes stay hidden?

Participants cannot see each other's votes until the host reveals them. During voting, only the host sees who has voted, not what they picked.

Which cards does it use?

A Fibonacci deck: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 and 34, plus a ? card for unsure and a coffee card for a break.

Can I export the results?

Yes. The host downloads a CSV with each story, its final points and every voter's vote. Downloading the report permanently deletes the session.

What happens to my data?

A session is deleted the moment its CSV report is downloaded, or automatically after 24 hours without activity. See the privacy page for details.
